Hawthorne Suites by Wyndam Champaign
Located on the west side of Campus, Hawthorne Suites by Wyndam Champaign is remodeling all of their rooms this summer and is the hotel for which we have reserved 26 King bed rooms and 60 double-bed rooms for the nights of October 19th and 20th at the university rate of $84.99 per night. Please reference Block Code “CG19SO” or Block Name “Sociology of Development Conference” when making your reservation to receive this rate. The hotel offers a free shuttle from both the airport ant the train station. Please contact them at 217-398-3400 at least one day before your arrival to arrange pick up.
Please note that the we will also be providing a free shuttle between this hotel and the Illini Union.
Illini Union Hotel
The Illini Union Hotel sits in the heart of campus, offering beautiful Quad views, free parking, and complimentary $5 breakfast vouchers for its on-site Starbucks and other national restaurants. The Illini Union hosts many university events and supports student programming. To reserve a room at an exclusive prospective student rate, complete a reservation form or call 217-333-1241.
I Hotel
Located on the south end of campus, the I Hotel offers a special rate on rooms and breakfast for visiting prospective students, along with complimentary campus shuttling. You can also find a Starbucks and Houlihan’s in the hotel.
